Your pet's health and wellbeing are at the heart of everything I do. As part of my commitment to providing safe, professional care, I have completed Level 2 Pet First Aid training, giving me the knowledge and confidence to respond calmly and appropriately should an emergency arise.
My training includes:
- Recognising the signs of illness or injury
- Assessing a pet in an emergency
- Basic life support (CPR)
- Managing choking incidents
- Treating minor wounds and controlling bleeding
- Recognising heatstroke and hypothermia
- Responding to poisoning concerns
- Understanding common pet emergencies
- Knowing when urgent veterinary treatment is required
While I hope these skills are never needed, they provide an additional level of reassurance that your pet is in capable, caring hands.
Please note that pet first aid is not a substitute for veterinary treatment. In the event of a serious illness or emergency, I will contact you immediately and seek prompt assistance from your nominated veterinary practice, ensuring your pet receives the professional medical care they need as quickly as possible.

Whether your companion loves energetic adventures, leisurely strolls, exploring new scents or simply enjoys spending time outdoors, every walk is tailored to their age, fitness, personality and individual needs. We never rush our walks, and we take the time to build genuine relationships with every dog in our care, ensuring they feel relaxed, confident and excited for each adventure.
Before your first booking, we offer a complimentary Meet & Greet to learn about your dog's routine, personality, likes, dislikes, medical requirements and any training or behavioural needs. This allows us to provide a truly personalised service from day one.
Every walk includes fresh water on return, towel drying if needed, owner-approved treats, lots of praise and affection, and a detailed update with photographs so you can enjoy seeing your dog's adventures while you're away. We can also feed your dog if requested and carry out a quick home security check when collecting or returning them.
As a fully insured, DBS-checked and pet first aid trained professional, you can relax knowing your dog is receiving exceptional care from someone who genuinely treats them as one of their own.

Professional cat sitting
Cats thrive in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, where their daily routines remain undisturbed and their surroundings feel safe and secure. At Coastal Paws Pet Care, our professional cat sitting service allows your feline companion to remain relaxed while receiving dedicated, one-to-one care tailored to their individual needs.
Each visit includes fresh food and water, litter tray cleaning, playtime and companionship, welfare and security checks, and the administration of medication where required. We also provide regular updates with photographs, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your cat is happy, healthy and receiving the highest standard of care.
As an added benefit, we are happy to carry out small household tasks during each visit, including bringing in post, watering indoor plants, opening and closing curtains, rotating lights and checking that your home remains safe and secure.

Our visits are tailored to your pet's needs and may include feeding, fresh water, habitat cleaning, health and welfare checks, enrichment, gentle handling (where appropriate), exercise for rabbits and guinea pigs, medication administration (where routine), and plenty of calm reassurance.
For added peace of mind, we also carry out complimentary home care tasks during each visit, including bringing in post, watering indoor plants, opening and closing curtains, rotating lights and ensuring your home remains safe and secure.
